Definition of death
Is the separation of body and soul?
In Genesis God created us from the ground and breathed life in us.
Our essence or some call our consciousness our soul.
So when we die and the separation of our body and soul take place we still live on through our soul.
Everything we do here on earth we will pay for with our bodies and what we have done or have not done spiritually we will pay for with our soul. Some say it is the second death.
If we do something wrong we will pay for it with our bodies or money that we have worked for.
When we are born with are born with an empty soul because when Adam and Eve committed the ultimate sin in the garden and God through them out he also took away the Holy Ghost that lived within them. That means that there soul is empty of Light and now is filled with darkness. Satan has nothing to do with us directly. Satan lives in this world and feeds off sin from all the things we do wrong Satan will be there to feed of our sin.
This is why we go through life looking for things of this world to fill the empty spot we have way back when God took away the Holy Ghost that lived within us.
We try to find things of this world to fill that empty spot. But we will never find it from anything that is here on earth. When Jesus come here and preached and taught the disciples that the only way to fill that empty spot was to get saved. Then we would receive the Holy Ghost that we lost when Adam and Eve committed the sin in the garden. We now have that back again and now we will have a way back to heaven.
